Strouden Joinery, one of Dorset’s longest established joinery companies has recently been onsite at Poole Hospital installing sneeze screens to help protect the NHS staff and visitors during the pandemic.
To date over 30 screens have been installed on the wards and also the public and restaurant areas, these screens will potentially help to shield staff and visitors from the virus.
Robin Hawkins, Managing Director said Strouden has enjoyed a close working relationship with the hospital spanning many years, indeed decades. It is times like this when that close business relationship counts, we received the phone call for assistance and dropped everything to help out. We have had to furlough a number of staff but fortunately we have maintained a skeleton crew throughout this lockdown period and we were delighted we could help out
