I have been part of Dorset Chamber for over eight years, and I am honoured that my role within Dorset Chamber has grown over the course of my membership. I am delighted to have held the positions of Vice President and Chair of the Council of Ambassadors.

Having worked both in the UK and South Africa, mainly in Financial Services, I now work with a team of twelve fantastic people, for my company specialising in Mortgages and associated products. I continue to support as many charities as possible and act as a Trustee for two local organisations.

I have been heartened by the response and support that the team at Dorset Chamber has provided to its membership, especially with Brexit, Covid 19 and now the cost of living crisis. I want to continue to contribute to this support and help Dorset Chamber carry on with its journey upwards, maintaining and building on its strength, integrity and friendship to local businesses and County associations.

I want to help enhance the quality of life for local people as well as businesses and being part of the board of directors can help me achieve this goal. Creating the right business environment will make Dorset the place everyone would like to live and work. Helping to link profitable businesses opportunities with the right people is paramount. With environmental issues gaining pace, I want to embrace these together with the strong work that Dorset Chamber already does in the areas of wellbeing and all-round support.

If I can continue to build on the above goals and continue to strengthen the friendships that I have been lucky enough to establish, then I will indeed feel that I have contributed positively to life in Dorset.
