The Department for International Trade has recognised a number of UK businesses that have worked with the DIT to successfully make export a major part of their trade strategy, naming them Export Champions.
Actisense, the marine electronics specialists based in Poole, Dorset, are one of the businesses that have been celebrated in a publication created by the Export is GREAT campaign from the DIT. The company markets and sells their NMEA specialist equipment in 45 countries around the globe, with export making up over 83% of their annual turnover.

The company won the International Trade Award at the 2019 Maritime UK Awards.
