The leading cyber security company C3IA Solutions has recruited another former army specialist to its ranks.
Iain Good, a Warrant Officer managing IT and Cyber services with the Royal Signals, will join the company, headquartered in Poole, Dorset, in the new year.
When his military career comes to an end in January he will have served for 24 years.
He will then take up his position as a Technical Services manager with the company that has well over 120 personnel directly employed or on contract work, in the UK and abroad.
Iain will oversee the delivery of technical services across C3IA’s growing list of private and public sector clients.
Iain said: “Really I have come full circle because when I went to the University of London in the Officer Training Corps I was advised by one of the managers, Mark Tivey, to go into the Signals.
“When I was looking to move on from the military, Mark had become the lead consultant for resourcing at C3IA Solutions, and discussed the company with me.
“The company is very well known within the Royal Signals and although leaving the military after such a long time can be difficult, joining a company with such strong military connections should make it easier.”
Jim Hawkins from C3IA Solutions said: “Recruitment in cyber remains challenging.
“The sector continues to grow but the number of people with appropriate skills and experience needed is not growing at the same rate.
“So to be able to attract and employ highly qualified and experienced people such as Iain, in such a competitive market, really demonstrates the quality of the opportunities that we are able to offer.
“Iain will join our growing technical services team helping to manage the delivery of IT assurance and security testing services.”
