Blue Sky gains Westminster seal of approval

A Dorset financial planning specialist managing £100 million of client assets has been hailed by the government as a leader in its field.

Blue Sky Financial Planning features among a handful of ‘hardworking’ UK success stories in the latest Parliamentary Review.

The annual publication’s half-a-million-strong readership includes policy and decision makers across the public sector and in business life.

Poole-based Blue Sky appears in the first ever work and pensions section highlighting its innovative technology offerings including analysis and forecasting tools and a client portal.

Founder and Managing Director Gary Neild was among the guests at the review’s gala launch at the Houses of Parliament.

Gary said: “As well as appearing in print, it was great to be at Westminster and have the chance to explain to ministers and other MPs face-to-face how we are bringing peace of mind to people thinking of their financial futures.

“We have always been committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for our clients and have continually reinvested to improve efficiencies and enhance our service.

“I’m a great believer that a culture defines an organisation and being one of only 14 UK companies chosen to appear in the review is testimony to the hard work and commitment of our team.”

Review director Daniel Yossman said: “Blue Sky Financial Planning and other hardworking organisations from across the country have come together to make this year’s review possible. Sharing knowledge and insight with both peers and government is essential work and this year’s review will reach every corner of the British economy.”

Review chairman and former Communities Secretary Sir Eric Pickles added: “It has never been more important for government to hear the views of business and the public sector in a constructive forum. It is also a vital time to share best practice and progress.”
