Bournemouth & Poole College is set to host two open days this autumn to welcome prospective students who are considering their next steps towards their chosen career.
The College’s Poole and Bournemouth campuses will be open on Wednesday 18th October from 4pm to 7pm and Saturday 18th November from 9.30am to 12.30pm to enable visitors to explore the latest study options available.
Phil Sayles, Principal at Bournemouth & Poole College, says: “Our open events are a great opportunity to discover more about the College, to see our campus facilities and most importantly, to talk to our exceptional staff and students about the wide range of courses on offer. Whether prospective students are thinking about choices post-16, contemplating a career change, wanting to upskill or enter higher education, tutors will be on hand to provide the best possible advice.
“The College is the largest provider of Further Education and apprenticeships in the area and we offer students the chance to achieve great results in a supportive and inspiring environment. With more than 40 courses, over 20 different Degree level subjects which are approved by leading universities and businesses, more than 30 apprenticeship options across 17 industry sectors, and now the opportunity to study T Level courses in education and childcare as well as digital and computing, there are fantastic options for all at the College.”
Visitors to the Poole campus will have an opportunity to tour the new £1.2 million Degree Centre which offers a state-of-the-art learning environment for students studying degree level qualifications and incorporates flexible learning spaces for small group teaching, digital suites with access to high specification IT equipment, virtual reality suites and industry-standard nursing training facilities.
Attendees will also be able to find out about the new build project set to take place at the Bournemouth campus which will see some of the UK’s highest-quality education facilities constructed by 2026.
