Following the success of its previous Q&A session, Bournemouth & Poole College is to host a live Facebook Apprenticeship Q&A session with its Commercial Director on Wednesday, May 6 at 1pm.
Matt Butcher will be on hand to answer any questions that people have on apprenticeships, to give clarity on how the College will continue to facilitate placements during the Coronavirus crisis, and to provide some reassurance for students and parents.
This live session is part of a series of social media events being planned with various staff over the coming months to answer questions relating to the current Coronavirus crisis and which cover a number of education areas and topics.
Matt Butcher explained: “As we enter the fifth week of lockdown, people are starting to look ahead to the future to see what can be done now to plan their education with minimal disruption.
“We have remained in constant communication with our apprenticeship employers to ensure we have the most up-to-date information for students. This is the perfect time for anyone who has any concerns or questions to get in touch to find out more about apprenticeships and the training options available at the College.”
Bournemouth & Poole College is the largest provider of further education and apprenticeships in the area. All students are now studying remotely and taking part in virtual lessons given by staff. Applications for all courses and apprenticeships remain unaffected and can be made online through the website.
