Bridge Health & Wellbeing signs new golf partnership with Dorset PGA Professional

Christchurch-based Bridge Health & Wellbeing has agreed to a new partnership with local PGA Professional Golfer Matt Williams.

Matt gained his first handicap at the age of 11 before being a member of the Cornwall U14, U16 & U18 squads. Following regional and national achievements in college golf tournaments, Matt obtained a scholarship at Bournemouth University shortly before starting his three-year PGA degree.

Now 26, Matt is recognised across the South of England both as an accomplished golf performance coach and as a tournament professional. He also runs his own golf performance studio in Parley. Previously, he was a performance coach at Bournemouth University and PGA Professional at Dudsbury Golf Club.

Paul O’Connell, lead physiotherapist and co-founder of Bridge Health & Wellbeing, said, “We are delighted to be working with Matt, who is an exceptional golfer. Golf is a physically demanding sport, resulting in a range of possible injuries. Regular massage, physiotherapy and chiropractic treatment will help keep Matt on top of his game as he competes on the SkySports EuroPro Tour, TP Tour, MENA Tour and Clutch Tour.”
