Bridge Health & Wellbeing are celebrating their fifth birthday this July and would love Chamber members to join them as they look back on an incredible five years.
The celebration will take place at the clinic on Bridge Street in Christchurch on July 18th between 5pm and 8pm, and everyone is invited. There is no need to RSVP—just drop in and stay as long as you like.
Visitors will be able to see the clinic’s newly extended facilities, which opened earlier this year, including the garden studio and Pilates reformer studio.
“It’s hard to believe that five years have passed since Steve Hard, then lead physiotherapist at AFC Bournemouth, cut the ribbon to officially open Bridge Health & Wellbeing,” co-founder Paul O’Connell commented. “After months of planning and building work, we were so excited to launch our bespoke, welcoming health and wellbeing clinic, which we hoped would become the heart of our local community. Having spent years working for other companies, we wanted to create a unique health and wellbeing space that could bring our physiotherapy and Pilates skills together to deliver an integrated, personal service, supporting our clients on their entire wellbeing journey, from dealing with injury or resolving pain to maintaining strength and fitness.
Five years have flown by, with the challenges of COVID-19, launching new classes, opening new treatment rooms, winning the Christchurch Business awards and being shortlisted in the Dorset Business awards.
It’s been a pleasure hosting events ranging from Winter Wellbeing to Running Repairs workshops. Our team has grown from my wife Louise and me to a seventeen-strong group of physiotherapists, sports massage therapists, Yoga, Pilates and QiGong teachers, a chiropractor, a strength and conditioning coach and receptionists.
We have helped local sports teams thrive through our health and wellbeing partnerships with Wimborne Town FC, Weymouth FC and Christchurch RFC. We have been proud to support some fantastic local charities, giving back to our local community by fundraising for Parkinsons UK, Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, Chill Dorset, and taking part in the Bournemouth Cancer Research Race for Life.
This year has seen the opening of our new Garden Studio and the arrival of Pilates reformer classes, thanks to our new apparatus. We’ve also been delighted to welcome new team members. There is so much to celebrate!
Throughout it all, our local community, including local Christchurch businesses and Dorset Chamber members, have been so supportive. That’s why we wanted to open our doors to celebrate our fifth birthday and say thank you to everyone who has played a part in our journey so far.”
