Broadstone Christmas Parade Raises £982

Broadstone Christmas Parade raised £982 for charity – thanks to all the kind spectators who donated cash as collectors passed by.

Delighted parade organisers are thanking everyone who supported the popular event. They described the fundraising total as “amazing”.

“Well done to all contestants, participants, marshals, sponsors, stallholders, stores, organisers, judges, bucket collectors, Santa Claus and everyone who came to watch and give,” said Broadstone Chamber of Trade & Commerce chair Kate Buchan.

All the proceeds will be split between the Age Concern day centre in Dunyeats Road and the Broadstone Christmas lights fund.
