More than 500 visitors poured through the doors of the Dorset Business Festival Expo.
They met exhibitors from a diverse range of businesses, enterprises and organisations on 70 stands at the Dorset Chamber organised showcase.
The expo at the Hilton Hotel in Bournemouth was the second event to be held as part of this year’s bumper Dorset Business Festival.
Dorset Chamber chief executive Ian Girling said: “The expo was absolutely buzzing and full of energy.
“The diversity of businesses attending was brilliant as delegates mixed, networked, toured stands and discussed potential partnerships and opportunities.
“It was great to see so many likeminded businesses brought together in one place and show just what a supportive, forward-thinking and innovative business community we have in Dorset.
“We have had so many positive comments from exhibitors and delegates saying how much they enjoyed the event, and my thanks go to everyone who made it such a success.”
The expo followed the launch of the festival at Rick Stein’s restaurant at Sandbanks in Poole on Monday September 30.
It continues next Wednesday 9th October with a ‘Business as a Force for Good’ conference at the Hilton Hotel before the festival’s grand finale with the Dorset Business Awards on Thursday October 10 at the same venue.
Dorset Business Festival is also supporting a Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Homewards Employer Engagement Event on Wednesday 16 October at the Marsham Court Hotel.
The festival is supported by Premier Festival Partner Lester Aldridge and Festival Partners Blue Sky Financial Planning, Bournemouth and Poole College, Dorset Council, ElectriX and YMCA Bournemouth.
Dorset Chamber is the county’s leading business support organisation and its voice of business.
It has nearly 700 members representing more than 37,000 employees and celebrates its 75th anniversary this year. The chamber has a vision of ‘enabling better lives through business’.
