Business Come Dancing Rivals: Coles Miller’s Kerry vs Her Best Man

Coles Miller’s Kerry Houston-Kypta will be competing against a very special rival in this year’s glittering Business Come Dancing contest – the best man from her wedding!

Commercial property solicitor Kerry and her professional dance partner Marek Lynch will be performing the Argentine Tango.

Meanwhile, her best man Jack Siriphant from Kings Beach Residence has teamed up with Marek’s dance partner Georgia Damalidou for the Salsa.

Business Come Dancing takes place on 19 November 2022 at the Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel on the West Cliff.

It’s the second time that Kerry has taken part in Business Come Dancing. In the first event back in 2014 she was narrowly pipped into second place…on the night of her 10th wedding anniversary.

“Competing against Jack and Georgia will be great – it will make the evening even more fun!” said Kerry, a Partner at Coles Miller and Head of the firm’s Poole-based Commercial Property team.

She was a keen dancer as a child and at university but – until Business Come Dancing – had never competed.

“It’ll be good to literally dust off my dance shoes again!” she said.

Business Come Dancing is organised by Pavilion Dance South West, which is dedicated to transforming communities through dance. The event is the main annual fundraiser for the charity which supports many communities including:
•    people living with long-term conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease
•    young people struggling to access the curriculum due to mental health barriers
•    care home residents
•    families with financial barriers to accessing dance and the arts
•    schools and colleges
•    arts performers.

For this year’s Business Come Dancing, Pavilion Dance South West is partnering with #Willdoes, a charity dedicated to introducing young people to sports and other activities to help them:
•    connect and engage socially
•    develop coping mechanisms to help manage anxiety and emotions
•    increase self-awareness, developing trust and relationships.

Kerry is hoping to raise £250 for Pavilion Dance South West. Supporters can donate via her Givey page: www.givey.com/kerrysstrictlycomedancingchallenge
