Charity Lunch With Cricketing Legends Returns For Another Year

Diverse Abilities is hosting its second cricket lunch in the stunning grounds of Canford School in Wimborne on Friday 16 February.

Celebrity guest speakers Michael Vaughan and Shaun Udal will be sharing their stories as legendary cricketers to raise funds for Dorset’s only disability charity.

Last year’s cricket lunch was a huge success with guests expressing that it was a fantastic day of entertainment, food, networking opportunities and guest celebrity appearances. Shaun Udal will be returning to Canford School for his second time, this year accompanied by Michael Vaughn OBE, ranked one of the best batsmen in the world, to support Diverse Abilities.

Guests will have the opportunity to mingle at the drinks reception followed by a three-course gourmet meal. They will have the chance to play table games, take part in an auction and raffle and enjoy the highly anticipated celebrity guest speakers.

Lauren McCullough, events manager, at Diverse Abilities, said: “It was a very easy decision to organise another cricket lunch this February. We had an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from this event, and it was a pleasure to host. We hope to see some new faces this year, as well as some returning guests.

“This is a thoroughly enjoyable event which is raising funds to further support children and adults living with disabilities in Dorset. We anticipate this event selling out very quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment.”
