‘Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.’ – Confucius

Young Chamber works alongside businesses and organisations as part of the careers delivery provision in Dorset, with the collective aim of helping young people make informed choices about their future careers whilst supporting parents and carers in the decision-making process.

A new collaborative approach between BCP Council, Dorset Council, Dorset Chamber (Young Chamber), Young Enterprise, Young Apprenticeship Ambassador Network and the Careers and Enterprise Company, alongside other organisations including universities and careers delivery partners, means careers provision for our young people in our county has never been so robust.

Business and education in Dorset is more aligned than ever; that is down to the business volunteers who give their time, share their experiences and encourage their workforce to give back to the next generation of employees. Thank you!

As well as schools running their own careers programmes in line with the Government’s careers framework for schools (Gatsby Benchmarks), there are more opportunities than ever for employers, students and parents /carers to attend and participate in careers events across the county.
