Coach Firm Investment Prompts Recruitment Drive

Coach drivers based in-and-around Bournemouth are being urged to consider a new career with Excelsior.

The locally-based operator has recently made considerable investment in the purchase of new coaches and the refurbishment of other vehicles, since being acquired by Go-Ahead Group in 2016. And now bosses are on the look out for new recruits.
“We know Excelsior is held in very high esteem by local people, and by all those who use our services,” said general manager Adam Keen. “Since 2016 we’ve seen considerable success – with more and more customers turning to us for trips and journeys across the region and beyond.

“Our coaches have a striking new look, and now we’re seeking a further 16 drivers to join our close-knit team. We’re offering full and part time hours, so there are opportunities for all.

“Those who join us will benefit from a significant pay rise, recently implemented across our business, and our newly-branded two-piece suit – which is now standard issue to all of our coach drivers – will set them apart from the rest.

“This initiative is part of our preparation for a busy summer, and we’re looking forward to meeting some talented drivers keen to join us for some successful and exciting times ahead.”
