Consultation on the draft BCP Local Plan is now open

BCP Council has published the Draft BCP Local Plan and its supporting evidence.

The Draft BCP Local Plan provides the strategy for growth in the BCP area for the next 15 years, and planning policies against which future growth and development will be assessed. It also includes 33 individual ward policies, which all BCP Councillors have had the opportunity to help shape and develop.

We are inviting representations on the Publication Draft of the BCP Local Plan from Wednesday 20 March to 1pm on Friday 3 May 2024.

Full details of the consultation and how you can make representations are available here >>

Paper copies of the Draft Local Plan, key supporting documents and paper surveys will be available at the Bournemouth Civic Centre. Paper copies of the Draft Local Plan and paper surveys will be available at Boscombe, Broadstone, Christchurch, Kinson and Poole libraries.

All comments received during the formal consultation period will be passed onto a Planning Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for consideration as part of the formal examination process.
