Staff, professionals and residents at Moors Manor in St Leonards came together today, Friday 5th May 2023 to mark the King’s coronation by static cycling from their home in St Leonards, Ringwood to Buckingham Palace in London. Lester Aldridge also supported by joining the cycle and donating to the cause.
Staff took turns on the bike to raise money for Dementia Action Group, a local community group desperately in need of funds to help our community living with Dementia.
The Just Giving page has raised over £420 for this amazing cause.
Jenna, General Manager at Moors Manor, said: “It has been a fantastic day where staff and residents came together to support each other as staff cycled the 88 miles”
Bibesh, Activities Co-ordinator said “It has made us all come together for fun and a great cause. I cycled over 12 miles myself which was good achievement. Some of our residents even joined in by using the seated pedals”.
