Fantastically curated, this virtual space brings together – for the first time – critically acclaimed representatives from the creative sector and award-winning designers of cutting-edge technology.

Most events are PAY WHAT YOU CAN.

Throughout the month PDSW showcasing current work using AI, AR and robotics as well as creating the space for discussions for innovative possibilities for the future.

Artists | Technical collaborators include:

Through a series of live Q&A’s, digital screenings, and networking opportunities, attendees will be able to dive into myriad creative possibilities with artists and technology companies.

Why is this forum is important?

In this unprecedented year of pandemic, dialogue, and exploration of dance innovations, be it live or virtual, is more pertinent than ever.

In 2020, PDSW’s online Dance and Technology Forum is in part a response to the shift in practice for some artists and consumption of audiences during the COVID lockdown. The events will not only offer insights as to how technology is being used creatively within many specialisms but question and challenge how technology can broaden our geographic and physical boundaries.

Who is it for?

The whole forum is open for artists, promoters, technologists, academics, and other digitally curious people to discover creative avenues for cutting edge technology.

This is an incredibly exhilarating area of work – an area where cross-industry collaboration is key and there is potential to unlock digital ideas. Join us and be part of #CreatingThe Future2020.

Ticket holders to the one-day event will have exclusive access to additional online content available until Friday 16 October.
