DMW Architects Celebrate Tenth Anniversary

DMW Architects, the Wimborne based RIBA Chartered Architectural practice, celebrated their tenth anniversary last week with an informal gathering at The Cowshed in Lytchett Minster of clients, collaborators and the design team.

Derek Williams, Sean Daly and Ryan Martin (pictured) originally founded the practice in 2013 with the vision of creating a multi-disciplinary architectural practice that offered bespoke, sensitively design solutions for both private and commercial clients. The company has flourished, and is now a well-established design practice with ten full time members of staff located in the historic town of Wimborne Minster, Dorset.

The company has been behind a variety of projects, including one off houses, housing developments, schools, the zip tower in Bournemouth, and funeral homes to name a few. They are currently working on the new beach café at Mudeford sand spit at Hengistbury Head, a Passivhaus barn in rural Dorset and a new woodland burial development at Harbour View Woodland Burial Complex.

Derek Williams commented ‘It’s amazing how quickly the last ten years have passed. This milestone anniversary has made us pause and reflect, we are thrilled by the success we have enjoyed, with such a huge variety of projects we have had the privilege to work on, we look forward to continuing on this trajectory for the next ten years!’
