Sunseeker International invite Dorset Chamber members to a very special event

Dorset Chamber Business Partners, Sunseeker International are proud to announce a very special event in support of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
On Tuesday 12th June, Sunseeker International will be hosting HRH The Earl of Wessex when he visits Poole in June 2018. As a Trustee of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the Earl is on a mission to support the next generation of DofE participants so they too may experience the incredible opportunities afforded by the scheme. In Dorset, 3,235 young people embarked on their DofE Award last year. However, this is just 4% of the County’s youth population and increasing this percentage, particularly among those young people facing disadvantage, is a priority for the charity.
Sunseeker are inviting Dorset Chamber members, in return for a minimum charitable donation of £1,000, to join Chief Executive Phil Popham for a very special day:
- Starting with an exclusive Sunseeker Shipyard manufacturing tour, you and other VIP guests will witness first-hand how we craft a Sunseeker yacht.
- You will then board a dedicated Sunseeker yacht which will cross Poole Harbour to the exclusive and usually inaccessible, Brownsea Castle.
- Under the kind patronage of the John Lewis Partnership, you will arrive at the private and historic Family Pier to then disembark for a drinks reception on the south facing terrace of the Castle, overlooking Sandbanks. Here you will have time to network with HRH and fellow VIP guests whilst contemplating the beautiful surroundings.
- An intimate three-course dinner will follow the reception, served in a private setting within the Castle. Here, we will hear from Louis Castle who recently joined the award-winning Sunseeker Apprenticeship programme and in 2017, won the coveted Queens Silver Medal.
