Dorset Chamber teams up with Dorset Police Cyber Security Advisor

Posted on: 09/01/2017

In February and March the Dorset Chamber of Commerce are teaming up with Dorset Police’s Cyber Security Advisor, Jake Moore to help prevent businesses becoming a target to online attacks.
In a fast paced online world where more and more threats lie on the internet rather than from physical risk, the best form of defence is prevention. Jake’s role consists of presenting cyber security protection advice to the length and breadth of Dorset giving talks to businesses and local community groups who may be a target of cyber crime.
Jake also has 8 years’ experience in Digital Forensics so he is well equipped to give cyber security advice and demonstrate the vulnerabilities and threats businesses face every single day.
Jake will be at the Dorset Chamber’s boardroom onTuesday the 21st February and Thursday the 2nd Marchto give a 30 minute presentation. Whether you require advice on dealing with ransomware, or fear you may be targeted with a DDOS attack, or maybe simply you want to learn about the current cyber crime trends affecting business such as CEO fraud, then this is a great opportunity for you and your business.
Please emailJake to book your confidentail appointment at the Chamber office, Poole. Appointments are available between 10am – 4pm, in which will be arranged with Jake.
