Local construction Company Rose Engineering achieved huge success in the RIDBA (Rural and Industrial Design and Building Association) Awards in September. Companies from all over the UK joined together in Cambridge on the 22nd September to celebrate and acknowledge the very best of the Construction Industry.
Rose Engineering have been constructing Agricultural and Industrial buildings for over 37 years with quality and excellence at the core of everything they do. Operating throughout the Southwest, from cattle sheds to commercial units and offices, their teams are experienced in constructing a multitude of buildings. This has been a very busy year for the Company and they are going from strength to strength, being rewarded with award success.
Taking on some very strong competition from much larger construction companies from all over the UK to not only be winners in the Commercial Building category but to go on to be crowned Overall Winners out of all the other finalists is a triumph for a small business.
The winning Commercial Building entry, a new Workshop building for Chris Cox of CJ Cox Limited, local Agricultural Engineers, was chosen by the judges for successfully combining traditional agricultural building elements with modern commercial styles and great workmanship.
Tom Rose, Managing Director said: “We are beyond thrilled to have won the Commercial Award and be Overall Winners at the RIDBA Awards for our work on CJ Cox’s new workshop building. We were lucky to have a great client to work with on this project, Chris Cox of CJ Cox Limited who had a clear vision of what he wanted to achieve from the build so be able to help him achieve this is exactly what we aim to do for our clients. We couldn’t be prouder of our small Dorset based business.”
Their extensive experience across agricultural and industrial industries equips Rose Engineering with the knowledge and skills to provide clients with a comprehensive service. From initial planning applications to fabrications, groundworks and cladding to building completion, they cover all aspects of a project.
Anita Beaumont, Finance & Marketing added “This is a national award so to even reach the finals was an achievement but to go on to win our category as well as being the Overall Winners on the night was a huge surprise! Our whole team works so hard to be the best at what we do so this really shows their hard work is being recognised”.
‘RIDBA is the leading trade association for the modern agriculture and industrial buildings industry in the UK.
