On Thursday 31 July 2025, Dorset will take a bold step forward in the visibility and celebration of women in sport, as the Dorset Women’s Showcase Day takes centre stage at Wimborne Cricket Club.
Organised by the Dorset Cricket, this landmark event is more than a game — it’s a statement. It’s about giving women and girls in sport the platform, recognition and space they deserve — and it’s a call to Dorset’s business leaders to stand alongside them.
The day will feature a showcase women’s T20 cricket match, supported by players and coaches from Southern Brave (The Hundred), alongside youth skills sessions, live interviews, and family-friendly zones. At the heart of the event lies the Showcase Lunch — a professionally curated marquee lunch and networking experience, designed to bring together leaders from across the region in support of greater representation and opportunity in sport.
