On Wednesday 18th October, the annual BSG Awards (from the Building Safety Group, the construction industry’s largest construction safety group) were held at the Williams F1 Conference Centre in Oxfordshire.
HH Drew Site Manager, Tim Cummings won the BSG Site Manager of the Year Award for the Central and Southern region for his outstanding commitment towards health and safety judged on the management of his sites.
BSG Managing Director, Paul Kimpton said:
“The BSG Awards ceremony was once again a national celebration of our members’ dedicated commitment to Health and Safety in construction. Recognised award winners such as HH Drew should be immensely proud of their achievement and highly commended for their admirable approach to reducing risk in the workplace. It is BSG Members like HH Drew who make a significant contribution to raising the bar when it comes to health and safety standards across the sector, and we offer them our congratulations.”
HH Drew Managing Director, Phil Langdown said:
“We are delighted that DREW’s Tim Cummings has been awarded the BSG Site Manager of the Year Award. This is a particularly special award due to the nominations being made by BSG themselves following regular inspections, unlike other categories which were open to apply for. I would like to congratulate Tim who has worked incredibly hard and truly deserves this renowned health and safety award achievement.
Our recently completed project for 83 flats and retail units in Bournemouth was also shortlisted as a Finalist for Project of the Year at the BSG Awards for which we are very proud of considering the tough national competition.”
