Ellis Jones Solicitors has been recognised as one of the top law firms in the country in a prestigious annual publication.
It has been listed in the newly published Chambers UK Guide 2021, which ranks the most notable firms and lawyers nationwide. The guide is compiled following extensive research and following interviews with clients and other practitioners.
Regional law firm Ellis Jones, with five offices across the south coast as well as London, was rated once again for the excellence of its Family Law services. It was praised for its ‘strong reputation’ and ‘likeable and impressive team that provides clients with a cost-effective and highly professional service’.
Partners and Joint Heads of Family Deborah Leask and Sean McNally were named as Ranked Individuals along with Partner Katie Taft who was also described as a ‘rising star’.
Ellis Jones’ Commercial Litigation department was listed in the guide for the first time. It was one of only three law firms with a presence in Dorset to be ranked in this category. Its entry stated that its team ‘goes the extra mile and pulls out all of the stops in urgent matters’.
Head of Dispute Resolution Lauren Day and Head of Banking and Finance Litigation Will Fox Bregman were both named as Notable Practitioners.

The annual guide is published by independent legal research company Chambers and Partners to give reliable and up to date information about the best law firms and lawyers in the UK.
