Terms and Conditions of Entry 

Sensitive information submitted as part of your entry for the awards will be treated in confidence by all parties.

By way of definition for the purposes of the awards, a business can be a sole trader, training provider, limited company, partnership or charity/CIC. The Community Partnership category can only be entered by sole traders, limited companies or partnerships. 

There is no charge to enter the awards or attend events for finalists including Meet the Finalist and the Awards ceremony.

Awards are all open to businesses that are based in, or, operate in, the county of Dorset. You do not have to be a member of Dorset Chamber to enter the awards.

An individual business can enter up to 2 categories.

You can save and return to your entry. Please make a note of the unique code you receive when doing this. The Awards team are unable to access your entry until it is formally submitted so we canot help with retrieval. 

We recommend that you structure your entry based around the criteria/suggestions shared for each category. 

Previous winners and finalists from 2023 are eligible for entry in the 2024 awards. 

All businesses selected as finalists will be visited for photography/video to be used in the Awards ceremony and in marketing activities.  Footage and imagery will remain the property of Dorset Chamber but will be shared with finalists for their use, on request.

By entering you agree that agreed Information and imagery relating to semi-finalists and finalists may be used by Dorset Chamber in future marketing materials.

Photography/filming will take place between 23 July and 3 September 2024. All entrants must be available for photography during these dates. Should this not be the case, or alternative provision agreed, another business may be selected as a finalist.

All businesses selected as finalists will be required to attend to a Meet the Finalist event on the evening of 30 September 2024. All entrants must be available to attend this event. Should this not be the case, another business may be selected as a finalist.

All businesses selected as finalists will be required to attend the awards gala dinner and presentation ceremony on the evening of 10 October 2024. All entrants must be available to attend this event. Should this not be the case, another business will be selected as a finalist.

All entries must be received by 12 midday on 13 June 2024. 

The decision of the judges is final and there is no appeal process. Due to the high volume of entries, unfortunately we are unable to provide specific feedback.
