Posted on: 13/04/2018

Top financial commentator Justin Urquhart Stewart offered his views on everything from Brexit to Donald Trump when he spoke to lawyers and their guests in Dorset.
Famous for his red braces – but on this occasion wearing a tartan kilt – the co-founder of Seven Investment Management (7IM) covered the ‘rollercoaster’ of recent world events in an amusing speech at the annual dinner of Bournemouth & District Law Society (BDLS).
More than 160 people attended the event at the Hilton Hotel in Bournemouth which was hosted by Nigel Smith, BDLS President and Managing Partner of Ellis Jones Solicitors.
Top table guests included presidents from law societies across the South, sponsors and the President’s personal guest, Sian Smith.
Entertainment was provided by a quartet organised through Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and also singer Paul Walker.
Bournemouth & District Law Society represents more than 500 lawyers. Dinner sponsors were Quostar, Brighter Law Group, Paragon, College Chambers, Ash Elite and Blue Sky Financial Planning.
