Free Cyber Security and Data Management Training

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport identified in its 2017 Cyber Security Breaches Survey, identified that 45% of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) reported a breach in the last year. Worryingly this statistic is set to skyrocket.

BCP Council is offering FREE Cyber Security and Data Management Training to Dorset SMEs. The national project Cyber Well is all about how we can help small businesses become safer, without taking too much of your time, but remaining useful to your business, saving you money and giving you confidence in your cyber security processes.

We are currently looking for 300 SME’s from across Dorset to take part in the Cyber Well programme.

The project takes place online, over a two-month period, but will only require your engagement for a short period of time throughout this duration. SME’s who complete the trial will also have the chance to win FREE specialist consultancy and Cyber Essential’s certification.

Councillor Mark Howell, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Culture, has said:

“SMEs are a vital part of our economy, both locally and nationally. If you represent a small to medium sized business, within our county’s thriving economy, I encourage you to take part and support this innovative programme.’’

To sign up to this exciting project and watch a short recruitment video please visit: www.cyberwell.co.uk. You will be an important contributor to a national project which not only helps you stay safe, but helps all Dorset businesses become Cyber Well. Thank you.

Sign up early for your chance to win a 3 or 4 night stay at the iconic Bournemouth Beach Lodges.
