Free places available for seminar on ‘revolutionary’ cloud
Posted on: 06/11/2017

Cloud-based computing is revolutionising the way information is stored, accessed and used, particularly accounts.
A free seminar on the cloud is held in Poole this month (November) for finance directors, financial controllers and business owners.
PKF Francis Clark and The SME Financial Controller have joined forces to discuss and demonstrate the benefits of cloud accounting across different accounting platforms.
The main speaker, Allison Pearson of PKF Francis Clark, will highlight why the cloud has become so prominent and important.
She will also outline the software options with a short demonstration of the two main players, Xero and QuickBooks.
The seminar will conclude with a question and answer session.
Jessica Tubbs, Accounts Team Manager at PKF Francis Clark, said: “Cloud-based accounting is fast, secure and easy-to-use.
“It allows you to communicate financial data in real time, speeding up decision-making and adding flexibility and control to your business.”
Denise Ward, of The SME Financial Controller, added: “The cloud is revolutionary but many business owners, particularly small and medium-sized, are not fully aware of the benefits it can bring them.
“We’ll demonstrate how businesses can work better and smarter by embracing this new way of working, saving them time and money.”
