Poole based IT service provider, Grapevine has announced the launch of its own branded mobile offering, powered by 3, the leading UK network for 5G coverage.
Grapevine began life as a reseller of mobile contracts in 1991, partnering initially with Vodafone, followed by EE and O2. The past 15 years has seen significant growth at the company, with an expansion of its service portfolio to incorporate a wide range of fixed line, IT and connectivity solutions.
With a team of 23 employees, Grapevine will list as one of the smallest businesses in the UK to earn the accolade of an own branded MVNO (mobile virtual network operator), made possible by the company’s longstanding relationship with unified communications provider Gamma.
In 2023, Grapevine became a Gamma Gold Partner, following a previous accreditation received in 2021, the Gamma Technical Alliance Partner status. Collectively these recognise Grapevine’s expertise in product knowledge and delivery, as well as the volume of clients benefiting from these services.
Grapevine is proud to be supporting Julia’s House with this new MVNO offering. 5% every month from all line rentals will be donated to the children’s hospice charity, based in Dorset and Wiltshire.
“We are continually impressed by the phenomenal effort and care shown in the work of Julia’s House.” shared Grapevine Managing Director, James Spinks. “In addition to the support they provide to the most seriously ill local children and their families, they are also recognised as an exceptional employer. We feel a strong affinity with the value the organisation places on its people. It has been an honour to work with them for many years on the provision of mobile services and we are pleased to be able to build on that with this new partnership.”
“We are so grateful for the continued support of the team at Grapevine,” Julia’s House corporate fundraiser, Caroline Attreed shared. “They have been a great partner to the charity and all the children and families we support for a number of years. This new initiative is a really generous gesture and will help us to continue to provide our life changing care, now and in the future.”
