Greendale Construction Completes New Forest Crematorium

Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited has completed a 52 week contract to build a state-of-the-art crematorium in Hampshire which will serve New Milton, Bournemouth, Christchurch and the surrounding areas.  New Forest Crematorium and Memorial Gardens, built for Crematoria Management Ltd, part of the Westerleigh Group, is located at Stem Lane, New Milton, with stunning views across the landscape and Great Woar Copse as a backdrop. The chapel, complete with copper looking lantern roof, benefits from woodland views, providing a peaceful and special setting for services. 

Andy Musselwhite, Contracts Director, Greendale Construction, commented: “Greendale completed the new build crematorium, associated civils and landscaping, working with our client’s contract administrator and surveyor, Macegreen, architect, Stride Treglown, landscape architect, Indigo, and structural and civils engineer, Clarkbond.  The chapel, completed with traditional masonry and timber finishes has a steel framed flat roof structure, complimented with a striking copper looking lantern roof.”
