Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited has welcomed Chris Lyford to the team as Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager within the busy Greendale Small Works Department.
Chris has an NVQ level 3 in carpentry and joinery completed at Bournemouth and Poole College, and he is currently completing a BSC in Quantity Surveying with UCEM.
Previously, Chris worked as a project manager for Tekne, involved in the management of the construction of high-end restaurant projects located in Central London, and before that his role with Halstock Cabinet Makers saw him managing high-end joinery projects mainly based in Central London, as well as internationally.
Having grown up locally in Dorset, where he attended Ferndown Upper School, Chris commented: “I’m excited to work on a variety of projects for Greendale, including heritage, commercial and high-end residential works.
“Greendale Construction is a well-respected and successful company whom I’m looking forward to growing with, as they support me in completing my degree, and then becoming a Chartered Member of the Institute of Building (CIOB).”
