This year the CIOB has launched two new awards: the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award, and the Sustainability Award.

Blake Lennan, Site Manager, Greendale Construction, commented: I am honoured to have been nominated for the CIOB Construction Manager of the Year Award for the Bishop’s Waltham Junior School SCOLA Recladding Project. To have made it as a finalist is something I am really proud of, and I am grateful for all the support Greendale has given me through what was a tricky project working through COVID and having to adopt new methods of working.”

Andy Musselwhite, Commercial Director, Greendale Construction commented: “Blake is a confident, conscientious, and organised person whose skills were put to great use on the challenging work for this project. Not only was it a live school site, but the work was also completed during COVID lockdowns. Blake’s skills have been rightly recognised by the CIOB and we hope he can progress to win.”
