Cerys: Promoted from Hen House Manager to General Manager
We already know Cerys is a valuable asset to caring for our team and contributes significantly to our ongoing values and goals within Farmer Palmer’s. We are super excited to be able to recognise this with her promotion to General Manager.
This position will play a pivotal role in working alongside Andrew (read on), covering some of our HR responsibilities and developing the teams under her care.
My brother, Phillip, and I know that we are all in safe hands when Cerys is around.
A Warm Welcome to Andrew Brown
Hello Everyone,
I’m Andrew Brown and, from June 2024, I will be starting as the newest member of the Farmer Palmer’s team in the new role of Growth Development Manager. It’s a real privilege for me to be joining Farmer Palmer’s just in time for the summer.
For the last 12 years, I have been managing the award-winning beaches of Poole, Bournemouth, and Christchurch for BCP Council as Seafront Operations Manager overseeing a number of areas of business including catering, self-catering accommodation, land trains, cliff lifts, and beach huts alongside beach cleaning and facilities management.
Previously, I worked in the garden centre trade for Stewarts near Wimborne and owned my own garden design and maintenance business….. all of which is experience and knowledge I am keen to bring to Farmer Palmer’s to build on what is already an amazing team and farm park!
I look forward to meeting you all soon.
Reflection
You know us best and I know our team are familiar faces in the lives of your families. Over the past 26 years, we have worked with some incredible individuals, some of whom started as teenagers and are now lawyers, tradesmen, engineers, and business owners. We have been so proud to welcome back some of those people who have brought new skills into the business years later.
Those who are leaving will be taking up their new positions within the next 6 weeks, so we felt it was important to share this with you because we appreciate how important familiar faces within the team are, and that many of you choose us as your second home too.
