This January, Dorset’s biggest conservation charity, Dorset Wildlife Trust (DWT), is offering half price membership for supporters wanting to help wildlife in Dorset in 2017 and beyond.
The wildlife charity needs to grow its 26,500 strong network of support even further in 2017 in order to continue carrying out the vital work needed to look after wildlife on its 44 nature reserves and wild places in Dorset.
Valid until 31st January, a year’s membership will start from £18 for individual membership (was £36), £21 for joint membership (was £42) and family membership £24 (was £48). Exclusively for this offer, we are also giving away a free copy of the 2017 Dorset Wildlife Trust calendar, worth £7, featuring drone footage photography from around the county.
Other benefits to supporting DWT include receiving the Dorset Wildlife Magazine and our events guide three times a year, a guide to all our nature reserves in Dorset, a car sticker, and e-newsletters with wildlife news and information. If you purchase a family membership*, children will also become part of the Wildlife Watch community and receive a Wildlife Watch handbook, 4 issues of the Wildlife Watch magazine a year, stickers, a badge and a A2 poster.
DWT Supporter Development Manager, James Haldane said,“January is the only time of year we are able to offer half price membership, and it’s ideal for those who care about wildlife but aren’t able to spare the time to regularly support us in other ways, such as volunteering. Regular donations received through supporting DWT provide our only reliable source of income, so it’s a great way to helping us continue our conservation work. We look forward to welcoming new supporters to Dorset Wildlife Trust alongside 26,500 others, and hope you enjoy receiving your FREE calendar with every new membership in January 2017.”
