Helen Stacey Is Presented With An Outstanding Contribution Award By Dorset Chamber Of Commerce And Industry (DCCI)

The brand new DCCI President’s Award recognises an outstanding contribution to Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it was awarded for the first time in December 2017 to Helen Stacey. 

President, Paul Tansey said, “The recipient of this award embodies the spirit of Dorset Chamber of Commerce & Industry. It is given to somebody who exhibits professionalism and commitment, somebody who consistently contributes and volunteers, somebody who puts warmth, energy and life into our Chamber and somebody who embodies our values of collaboration, comradery and support.

Dorset Chamber is very pleased and proud to give this award to Helen Stacey – somebody who ticks every box as a member and Ambassador – to thank Helen for her terrific contribution over many years”.  

Helen spoke after receiving the award “It’s a complete shock for me to be given this award and I totally wasn’t expecting it.  To be recognised for supporting your local Chamber of Commerce is somewhat overwhelming. I have supported DCCI for around 20 years and have sat on the Council as an Ambassador for over 10 years now. I love supporting all businesses in Dorset and always try to buy local for Aspire Jobs wherever possible. However, it’s hard work being a business owner and for me being part of the Chamber is all about making business professional but also fun!  I would like to thank Paul for his vote of confidence in me and would like to congratulate him again on his appointment as President of the Chamber.”

Helen has always been extremely pro-active as a Chamber Ambassador and always goes the extra mile to support existing and welcome new members.”
