Help Give a Gift to Hospital Patients This Christmas
Posted on: 20/12/2016

Bournemouth Hospital Charity calls on the public to help bring a smile to those spending this Christmas in hospital.
By donating just £10 to the Charity, donors can help ensure that every patient staying at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital on Christmas Day will receive a gift as part of the ‘presents for patients’ scheme.
The Charity is hoping to raise £4,000 to guarantee that all patients, young and old, will get a Christmas gift presented to them from Hospital staff.
Bournemouth Hospital Charity’s Head of Fundraising, Debbie Anderson, asks the public to consider those in the community who will be unable to spend this Christmas at home.
“We expect to have over 500 patients staying in the hospital over this Christmas season,”says Anderson.
“Many of these patients will be unable to enjoy sharing time with family or friends and will spend Christmas Day without a single visitor.
“We believe every patient who has to stay in hospital deserves to share in the joy of this time of year and by donating just £10, people can make sure that no one is left out this Christmas.”
Anyone who would like to contribute can donate in person at the Charity Office by the front entrance of the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, or donateonline
