Help to Grow: Management

Investing in training for yourself and your team, understandably, may not have been high up on your priority list over the last two years, but with government funding and support still available, there’s good options to be considering.

The government’s Help to Grow: Management course is 90% funded, requiring a payment of £750 for a 12-week programme.

The course is delivered in partnership with leading business schools around the country and allows you to benefit from one-to-one support from a business mentor, alongside learning from and alongside fellow business leaders.

The scheme is designed to support senior managers and business owners of SMEs to boost the performance of their business and improve long-term growth.  It’s a combination of in-person and virtual learning sessions, fitting around your full-time work commitments.

Topics covered in the sessions include leadership, innovation, digital adoption, employee engagement, marketing, responsible business and financial management.

Ultimately, it will help you to develop your leadership and management skills and drive productivity and growth in your business, supported by a business mentor.

Eligible business for Help to Grow: Management must be:

  • SME based in the UK
  • Actively trading for at least 12 months prior to the date of application
  • From any business sector, employing between 5 and 249 people

Applicants should be a senior decision-maker or owner within the business (but only one person per business can attend the programme)

Charities are not eligible to apply.
