Hundreds Attend ‘BusinesseXpo now’, Bournemouth’s Newest Businesses Exhibition

The first ‘businesseXpo now’ in Bournemouth has brought together hundreds of people to network and grow their businesses.

Predicted to have the 10th fastest-growing economy in the UK this year, Bournemouth has celebrated local businesses through the first ‘businesseXpo now’. With a considerable number of exhibitors and hundreds of visitors, the first Bournemouth ‘buinesseXpo now’ has provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to network, creating new connections between businesses of all sizes and sectors. The free to attend event was organised by Expo South Ltd, which operates a portfolio of specialist events throughout the UK.

Welcoming members from Bournemouth’s dynamic business community, the event started with a full English Networking Breakfast hosted by ‘The Boardroom Network’, a business networking club with ‘Bournemouth’ and ‘Solent’ groups. The event continued with the exhibition featuring representatives from an eclectic mix of entrepreneurial micro businesses, SME’s and larger corporates. During the exhibition, the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted two free of charge speed networking sessions, one held in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Among the supporters and sponsors were The Wessex Reserve Forces’ & Cadets’ Association, a non-profit Taunton based organisation and Poole Chamber of Trade and Commerce.

Sam Dyer, Director of Expo South Ltd, said:

“Bournemouth’s first ‘businesseXpo now’ has been a great success. We had hundreds of people coming through the door at the Vitality Stadium for a day of networking and building connections. We’re delighted to have helped local and regional businesses make new contacts and grow their businesses. We’re looking forward to returning next year.”

Steve Bulley, Head of Business Engagement at Dorset Chamber of Commerce, added:

“The first Bournemouth ‘businesseXpo now’ was a fantastic event, enabling businesses to create relationships and gain new contacts. As a Chamber, we were pleased to be able to support the expo which showcased a wide variety of prospering businesses from across Bournemouth and Dorset”
