Individuality Swimming welcomes local student on year work placement.
Individuality swimming has welcomed Matthew Robinson to the office team, Matthew is currently studying Business Management at Bournemouth University and has just completed his 2nd year. Matthew with be working with us to complete his year placement, as part of Matthew’s placement year he will be working in all aspects of our business such as marketing, recruitment, working with external suppliers and HR.
Matthew had this to say “I chose to undertake a placement year due to the experience it will offer. Additionally, I valued working independently as a swimming instructor to such an extent that I have now decided to work behind the scenes. Not only allowing me to continue pursuing my love for teaching swimming but also enables me to gain valuable business experience. I will be able to adapt my own skill set to make the most of this excellent opportunity that I have been given.”
We work closely with local schools offering work placements for school children, this will be the first time we have offered a university student a full years placement, we look forward to working with Bournemouth University in the future and being able to offer more placements to local students.
