South Coast accountancy firm, Inspire, have been awarded Company Star of the Year by the Rock Star Awards. The prestigious title is awarded to the firm with fewer than 50 employees, who are able to demonstrate they are hiring, training and nurturing young people.
Now in its 7th year, Rock Star Awards celebrates talented young people and the companies that foster and develop them into stars of the future. This year’s ceremony took place at the O2 Academy, Boscombe, with more than 200 guests from companies all over Dorset and Hampshire vying for awards.
Fleur Cook, Marketing Manager of Rock Recruitment and organiser of the Rock Awards said: ‘The Rock Star Awards was something we started to commend and celebrate young people in Dorset and now Hampshire too, and this year we certainly did that. Not only did we have some truly inspirational and fantastic finalists we raised over £7,300 for the diabetes clinic at Bournemouth Hospital Charity. It’s so important that we support and nurture our young talent all year round, but the awards give us a chance to celebrate as a community that truly cares.’
With a panel of 4 Judges comprised of representatives from award sponsors Streetwise HR and Rock Recruitment, they were impressed by the enthusiasm and passion that Inspire demonstrated towards their employees when encouraging their staff to progress their careers, as well as being able to evidence how they implement their training and mentoring programmes.
Director of Inspire, Chris Downing said: ‘This is a fantastic achievement by the Inspire team. It is great to get recognition for training and developing our young people; therefore I am really proud to have received this award.’
Bev Cattano, Support Team Manager at Inspire added: ‘At Inspire we invest a lot of time into cultivating our staff and the advancement of their careers. We are absolutely over the moon to have won this worthwhile award.’
