Manufacturing and technology marketing agency Intergage Group Ltd has named Alex Elborn a director – just eight years after she joined as an intern.
At 29 years of age, Alex is Intergage’s youngest director. She has been made Director of IME Marketing and Operations.
The Intergage Group comprises three companies:
- Intergage Marketing Engineers (IME) – a Platinum HubSpot Solutions Partner, HubSpot Community Champion and Google Partner. IME helps manufacturers and tech innovators to accelerate growth with digital marketing and smart strategy.
- Intergage Marketing Systems (IMS) – advanced cloud-based software for marketing, sales, service delivery and customer support. IMS is the development arm of the Intergage Group.
- Intergage Marketing Partnerships (IMP) – which supports a hand-picked group of people and brands “that make the world a better place”. IMP is led by Intergage CEO Paul Tansey.
Alex joined Intergage as a Marketing Assistant in May 2015. In December 2017 she was promoted to Digital Marketing Manager, becoming IME Marketing Manager in June 2020, then IME Head of Marketing in February 2022. Alex is also a certified HubSpot Trainer.

Alex said: “Having started at the company as an intern in 2015, I’ve had many roles at Intergage and I’ve enjoyed every single one!
“Over that time, I’ve been given so many opportunities to learn and take on more responsibility – such as becoming HubSpot qualified, being a speaker for the Dorset Chamber’s Peer Networks scheme, and learning how to run a successful agency as part of the management team.
“Intergage really does invest in its people and I feel honoured to have been made Director of IME Marketing and Operations,” she added.
