Marketing specialists, epm agency, is delighted to welcome Ollie, a talented Junior Designer, who brings a blend of creativity and innovation to the table. With a background steeped in visual communications and a zest for evolving in the design world.
To give a deeper insight, Ollie has shared more about his journey in his own words:
“From a young age, I have always been a creative with a natural curiosity and love for learning. Throughout my early years in education, I was able to explore many areas of art and design, but I gravitated toward graphic design, leading me to study Visual Communications.
“While studying Visual Communications at AUB, I developed a passion for branding and typography. I was drawn to industry-related briefs, be it bringing scotch whisky to a new market for Chivas Regal, creating a disruptive ad campaign for eBay, or exploring UX and UI design with live briefs set with local agencies like EPM.
“Throughout my time at university, my most usual resource and community was my fellow coursemates, working in a busy studio with such a diverse range of talented creatives, bouncing off ideas and feedback is where I devote most of my growth to.
“I believe good design plays a pivotal role in illuminating ideas and bringing them to life. Telling a concise story and enhancing the user experience lead to long-lasting recognition.
“The tools I love to use are Photoshop and Illustrator, however I always strive to improve with each project and learn new skills. For the past three years I have experimented with projects incorporating animation and motion graphics to working with analogue and photographic techniques, all to build my skill set as a designer.
“Moving forward into my next chapter, with current technological advancements and AI being one of the biggest topics amongst designers, designers must evolve alongside these developments. I am excited to adapt and find more dynamic ways to work alongside AI.”
