Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited, has retained its’ prestigious Investors in People (IIP) Gold accreditation, a status which only 28% of companies assessed achieve. The IIP report, which was evaluated through individual interviews and small focus groups with Greendale employees, as well as surveys and rigorous documentation reviews, drew attention to the Company’s fully supported training which is regularly reviewed for every role across the business. Wellbeing was also noted as being of great importance with frequent discussions taking place within the workplace and mental health being a top priority across the company.
Operational and strategic management were both recognised as key to achieving sustained and managed growth, and those holding positions of leadership within the company remain approachable and personable to everyone across the firm, with interviewees commenting that; “All managers have an open-door approach here. You can approach people with any questions or ask for support.” “Aspiring and existing leaders represent our ambassadors for the future,” and, “I am excited about the future for the next 12 months. It’s good to know we have clear direction.”
It was also noted that Greendale’s pride in the quality of work delivered, is reflected in the company values.
