Local Bars Raise Money for The Dorset Children’s Foundation
Posted on: 13/03/2018

On Sunday the 4th of March, the wonderful staff at Chaplin’s and The Cellar Bar in Boscombe staged a quiz to raise funds for local charity The Dorset Children’s Foundation.
Great fun was had by all and the night included a raffle to raise extra money. One of the raffle prizes was to take part in a Sky Dive! Amazingly Chaplin’s own team won it and they didn’t leave it at that …. the entire team have decided to take up the challenge! That’s five people (including the owner Harry Seccombe) taking part at Go Sky Dive which will be a terrific fundraiser.
The Dorset Children’s Foundation are thrilled and founder Patsy Hallmey said: ‘It’s acts of kindness like this that really make a huge difference to our charity and the sick and disabled children that we support. Thank you to everyone that took part in the quiz and a massive thank you to the staff at Chaplin’s.’
The quiz raised £187 and you can make a donation to support the fundraising effort for the multiple Sky Dives via Justgiving.
