Local Day Nursery celebrate Nurses Day at Local Hospital
Posted on: 09/06/2022

Tops Day Nurseries Bournemouth, based on site at Royal Bournemouth Hospital, recently paid a visit to Bournemouth Hospital. The children at Bournemouth created some beautiful cards and hand delivered them to the nurses and doctors at the hospital to celebrate Nurses Day and to show their appreciation and thank them for all their hard work.
The staff were extremely happy with the cards they had received, Stacey Nash, Senior Nursery Manager at Tops Bournemouth said, “On Nurses Day we took a small group of children to the hospital with lots of cards that the children had made at nursery. We walked through offering cards to the nurses and saying good morning and hello to any patients that we saw along the way. We took a couple of pictures with the staff and discussed how everyone can be a nurse or a doctor no matter who you are. The nurses were very grateful for our visit, it was truly lovely, and we defiantly made a lot of people smile.”
Tops Bournemouth is one of the six Early Education and Care settings within the Tops Day Nurseries family to open in the BCP area, along with, Tops Poole on Denmark Lane, Tops Christchurch at Priory Hall, Tops Boscombe on Wolverton Road, Tops Charminster on Claremont Avenue and Tops Parkstone on Herbert Avenue.
