Local Recruitment Agency brings together experts to help local businesses access HR/Legal support

A FREE HR Support Forum has been launched by The Work Shop Recruitment Agency working with the HR support company Treenhill Consulting and Frettens Solicitors in response to a plea from local businesses that are struggling to keep up with all the new changes that are being made in employment law.

Working with some of its clients across the Poole, Ringwood and Romsey region the HR Forum is providing a platform for businesses to access the much-needed HR and legal support and advice free of charge and operating via Zoom initially.

We are really seeing what the greatest needs are in our community right now and HR support is one of them,” said The Work Shop’s Director, Shelley Alger.

And this collaboration was designed to pool together the available resources making the support easily accessible for companies, in whatever sector, whether they are a sole trader, micro, an SME or where a business doesn’t boast a HR function internally, we are here to help.

Employment law is constantly changing, especially now during the pandemic, so businesses are struggling to keep up and stay protected from making simple but expensive mistakes.”

2020 was a difficult year for almost every business. Having access to networks to share ideas and provide information was a lifeline for many employers during the pandemic to help cope with the constant changes to rules and regulations. We’re looking forward to hopefully helping make 2021 just that bit easier.” Said Chris Dobbs, Employment Solicitor of Frettens Solicitors

Lots of businesses are going through a really tough time and we continue to support local businesses and this unified approach will ensure our clients and wider community have a focal point to access free HR advice and support,” added Shelley.

Treenhill Consulting Director, Pem Paddick  said “This HR platform is available for all businesses and will be a particularly useful resource for those smaller businesses that do not have a HR department to support them during this time
