Lower Back Pain Event at Bridge Health & Wellbeing in March

Bridge Health & Wellbeing is opening its clinic doors in March for a talk on lower back pain by their chiropractor, Aaron Coode.
Aaron will be highlighting some of the common causes of lower back pain, discussing what causes them and how to manage them.

The event is free to attend and will take place at the clinic in Christchurch, Dorset, on Thursday, 6th March, from 17:30 to 18:30.

Lower back pain is a very common, painful and disabling condition, affecting many people at some point in their lives. It has been reported that it affects as much as 84% of the adult population, with 60-80% of people being affected throughout their lifetime. According to the NHS, back pain is the largest single cause of disability in the UK, with lower back pain alone accounting for 11% of the total disability of the UK population.

The exact source of lower back pain is not always clear. The soft tissues around the spine can go into spasm, and the joints at each spinal level can cause pain. Discs and nerves can also be affected, leading to things like sciatica. Thankfully, lower back pain often responds well to treatment, and lifestyle changes can make a big difference to overall recovery.

At this informative event, Aaron will be answering some key questions, including:

  • What causes lower back pain?
  • How can it be treated?
  • How can the symptoms be managed?
  • What steps can be taken to avoid lower back pain reoccurring?

Numbers are limited, so to book your space, please call 01202 473800 or email info@bridgehw.com.
