Community Catalyst
BCP Council has launched a two-year partnership with Community Catalysts to support local micro-enterprises offering personalised care and activities for disabled and older people.
Part of the Self-Directed Support programme, the project helps small community businesses grow through tailored guidance, supporting key strategies like the Day Opportunities Strategy and Individual Service Funds.
Ignite Programme
Ignite is a free, UKSPF-funded course for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole residents looking to start a business. Delivered by a professional advisor, it covers idea generation, marketing, and finance – plus includes a one-to-one session and a £250 grant.
