What type of businesses can join Dorset Chamber?
We welcome all types of businesses and organisations from both the private and public sector; from businesses with just one person working from home to large, international corporate companies. We represent all businesses regardless of shape or size. We also offer preferential rates for registered charities.
How is the Chamber related to other Chambers in the UK?
Dorset Chamber is an accredited member of the British Chambers of Commerce Network (BCC) representing a national network of 53 Chambers. As such, the Chamber adheres to the accreditation standards that are laid down by the BCC in relation to engagement with the business community; membership; financial health; governance and management and the regional, national and international development of the Chamber network.
Accreditation to the BCC provides access to national discounts and services as well as ensuring that the voice on business is heard at the highest levels within the UK and internationally.
Does my business have to be based in Dorset to be a member of the Chamber?
No, membership is open to businesses wherever they are based. If you are looking to do business in Dorset, we can help you.
Who in my business is covered in my membership?
